The veins in the back of my hand hurt.?
The first time it happened was right after one of my basketball games and every time i put my hand down, it felt like blood was rushing there and then my veins would pop out and it’d start to hurt. It’s happened on and off for the past month. Mostly after basketball practice which is everyday, but sometimes i wake up with it. I googled it before but the solution was always quit smoking and work out (I don’t smoke and i work out 5-6 days a week for 2-3 hours) another one said poor circulation but I eat and drink everything they say helps poor circulation including grape juice, garlic, I take vitamin E, take hot baths, and even got a massage and practiced relaxation techniques. Any advice?
I’m 15 so if you feel like i should tell my mom, i already did and her ‘remedies’ only worked the first time

It is possible to develop a varicose vein even at your age but your description sounds like this may have happened in your hand. If a natural weakness or an injury causes dysfunction of the small valves on the view that prevent back flow then you can get swollen veins and pain. I would suggest a medical evaluation if this has been ongoing for a month
